ACTING DIRECTOR SPORTS, ARTS AND CULTURE: MR M.I MOKOENA
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage, revise and implement policies, procedure and by-laws.
• Oversee and manage smooth running of activities in the directorate and cross boarder integrated of service.
• Facilitate the planning and control of functions of budget in the directorate.
• Liaise with the community, government departments and other stakeholders for purpose of sports, arts and culture projects.

MANAGER SPORTS:
RESPONSIBILITIES
• To coordinate all sporting events.
• Overseeing the sports facilities maintenance.
• To establish good and health relations within stakeholders.

MANAGER PARKS: MR R.J NTLERU
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee maintenance and operations of parks.
• General supervision and management of the division.
• Implementation of taken resolutions.

MANAGER ARTS AND CULTURE:
REPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, coordinates and promotes community arts and heritage program and events.
• Working to secure funding for arts and culture events.
• Manage and coordinate personnel within arts and culture division.
• Plan, organise, direct, control budgets for the entire sports section.

SPORTS OFFICER: MISS T.E MOTAUNG & MR B.J MAKHUBO
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Organising, developing and delivering a varied range of sporting activities or programmes.
• Liaising and working with relevant organisations or agencies including youth services, schools, clubs, sports coaches and sports councils.

ARTS AND CULTURE OFFICERS: MISS M.J RAMOHLOKOANE & MR T.M MLANGENI
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Development of new projects and initiatives in consultation with arts professions and key stakeholders e.g: local government and communities.
• Providing administrative support to manager arts and culture.

SUPERVISOR: MR M.V NDLOVU
ACTING SUPERVISOR: P.S MAHLATSI
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure that employees follow the municipal policies and procedures.
• To represent the employee’s requests to management.

ACTING SECRETARY: MISS R LESALA
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Compose and type routine letters, memorandum, reports, and minutes of meetings.
• Receive and make telephone calls and emails.
• Order office stationary, equipment, repair and maintenance services through supply chain department.
• Manage director’s diary and arranging appointments.

ACTING ADMIN CLERK: MR R.Z TAU
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide administrative and clerical services to ensure effective and efficient administrative operations.

Vision

A well maintained environment with the necessary suitable Parks, Sports, Recreation, Arts and Cultural facilities for all residents of Maluti-A-Phofung.

Mission

To address the requirements of Maluti-A-Phofung Community in ensuring the following:
• Enhancement and maintenance of the environment.
• Provision and maintenance of facilities for the community to ensure that their sport and recreational requirements are met.
• Development and enhancement of Arts and Cultural activities to the benefit of the community, embracing the principle of Batho Pele.
• Compliance with all the applicable By-laws within the Directorate, activities/needs of the public and also the facilities which are required.
